Kikuletwa Hot Springs is also known as Chemka Hot Springs. The hot springs are located close to the village of Rundugai and are one of the most wonderful places in Tanzania to unwind and enjoy swimming.
The small lake is surrounded by palm and fig trees with winding roots. The crystal clear water invites visitors for a refreshing bath. The blue monkeys are the biggest attraction of the spring.
Though the name is hot water springs, the water in Kikuletwa is not truly ‘hot’ but refreshing.
Lunch will be served at a picnic place near the lake. After plenty of time spent swimming and relaxing, we will take you back to Arusha.
The hot spring are hidden little tropical oasis found ( approximately 1 hour) drive on your way you will pass a dry land, scattered with baobab trees and Accacia and you will come up with a paradise full of palms and crystal clear water. The warm not necessarily hot and fresh water and a great place to swim there and see vervet monkey have a great day and enjoy the view of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru if it clear. It is a great place to visit
